The organized Chinese crime on Paradiso goes by the name Five Lake Clan – 家族五湖
The Five Lake Clan is a traditionalistic clan, which structure follows the strict doctrine of the Three Harmony Society. The three harmonies contain heaven, earth and humanity. This symbolizes the influence of the Triads in all kind of areas, as well as the business area itself.
- Heaven stands for trading with stolen informations and data, but although for everything regarding narcotraffic.
- Earth stands for weapon trading, smuggle and dealing with stolen technologies.
- Humanity contains business areas like prostitution, blackmailing danegeld, slave trade and special services like abduction and assassinations.
The Five Lake Clan’s homeland is the planet Teferox. However Yu Jing’s emperor started to strengthen his influence on Teferox, forcing the organized crime to look for new sources of income. Searching for a new regions they could attend to their illegal business, they quickly decided for the planet Paradiso. The chaotic political atmosphere was perfect to gain influence and territory where they could pursue their daily business. It was not surprising that the good organized Five Lake Clan was able to become one of the major players of the underground in no time. Considering their great experience and history in crime one could go as far as to say it was some sort of fate that brought them to Al-Hadiye. And they won’t be satisfied until they govern the city out of the shadows.
